well... decided to do one more anime commentary.. Houshinengi.. the jap remix of chinese classic 封神演義. 1st read a bit of the manga in yr 10.. didn't interest me too much.... but then watched the anime.. majorly simplifed but in my opinion much better than the complication of the manga...
just decided to write this.. for all the unforgettable ppl of HE:
Taikobou (白痴道士太公望)

i just love Taikoubou so much! ^0^ the very funny protagonist! always there to crack a silly laugh... always there to act stupid.. always slacking off when he can.. and yet having firm belief about his mission.. always so selflessly caring about people and friends.. so humble yet so powerful and having amazing strength.
Youzen (天才道士楊戩)

Youzen has an inferiority complex in the manga... which i didn't thinnk was depicted successfully... in anime his character was simpler but cuter.. the handsome genius type... always cool to look at in battles... yet he learnt so much from the famous "idiot" Taikoubou... ironic isn't it?
Kou Tenka (劍客黃天化)

Tenka was my fav character in the manga b/c he died in the end...*sob* so sad... while i didn't have to shed so much tears for taikobou.. in anime he didn't die!! ^0^ similar personality... carefree, fearless, read to fight.. very cool attitude.
Nataku (哪吒)

Nataku always looks a bit stiff and slow... but to look beyond his expressionless face.. he is sensitive, caring for friends.. and he loves his mum so much... so adorable.....^^
Kihatsu (周王姬發)

Kihatsu was the destined king of the new dynasty Shuu (real historical figure)... in manga he was a bit of a womaniser.. anime again made his character simpler.. just a good, brave, responsible prince who has a bit of a temper.. but then battles... father's words and death... bent him and prepared him to be a good king.
Bunchuu (太師聞仲)

the minister of the opposing force... one of my fav character in manga as well... *died in the end no surprise* but in anime i like him even better! And he didn't die! He was like this loner who guarded the In dynasty for hundreds of years... until he befriended Hiko.. then having to fight enemy within and without of his beloved dynasty...in manga He and Hiko's friendship ended badly.. *sob* in anime he focused his fights on Dakki the villain.. and didn't reali fight the good guys.. which is SMART.. and His frienship with Hiko stayed till the end... AWWWWWW.......
Kou Hiko (黃飛虎)

Tenka's dad, and Bunchuu's best friend. used to be commander of the In dynasty... then a tragedy caused by the villain turned him towards the Shuu... in the anime although there was a time of tension... in the end.. He and Bunchuu still were willing to give life for each other fighting a common enemy.. and remained best friends.. So cool!

Suupuu!(四不象)

Taikoubou's riding animal.. who reali adores his master.. cares for him.. and in the end of the anime... sacrificed his life protecting his master..(dun worry he came back to life again ^0^)
how i wish i can have a Suupuu.. and ride him everyday to uni.. *sob*
